2024 Annual Western Region Challenger Jamboree CANCELLED




Unfortunately, due to a lack of staff/volunteers, CA57 is  unable to host the Annual Western Region Challenger Jamboree in 2024.

It is our hope and desire that we will be able to resume this wonderful event for Challenger youth in the future. CHALLENGER JAMBOREE - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

 

Volunteers are key to the success of any large event like the CA57 Challenger Jamboree.  And what makes the Jamboree so rewarding is that the volunteers often say they got much more out of the event than they put in.

Both Food Servers and Buddies are needed on the day of the Jamboree.  Challenger Buddies are generally youth Little League players, age 12 and older,  who assist the Challenger players on the field by escort them to bases as needed, helping them with equipment, and providing encouragement and support.  Those that have served as Buddies often say they feel they got more out of the event than they put in.  It can be an extremely encouraging and enlightening time.

There are two sessions where help is needed: 8:30-11:30 and 12:30-3:30. Lunch is served to all volunteers.
